We each are two; together four;
We're no fewer; we are no more;
Just one side people often find;
Yet in us both live two souls intertwined.
Each situation is seen in two ways;
Our inner conflicts are known to last days.
The paths we take can be hard to see
Because of this duality.
Logic or instinct; love or lust?
We'll argue inside until we turn to dust.
Do our questions have answers? I don't know.
But there is something I want you to know.
Let me always at least be your friend;
Let me be there for you again.
And even if we can't be more,
I hope that through life your heart doth soar.
